What to Buy from Beautycounter in December

At least for the month of December, which typically brings sales, promotions, and some impetus to try new products, I’ll be posting what my clients are snatching up for the holidays.

Each year, Beautycounter releases limited edition gift sets or travel-sized sets of regularly available products before the holidays. This year brought some fun new sets, like The Jellies, a set of flavored lip glosses that would be a great way to introduce girls to safe makeup. They could also be divvied up into stocking stuffers or part of a beauty basket for a friend. Flavors include butterscotch and orange cream. Yum!

Last year and this year, my mom and I each order the Mini Lip Gloss Vault. Beautycounter lip glosses are totally addictive…they’re not sticky. It’s amazing. You can run around on a windy day and not end up with a face full of hair! The colors are also really flattering, and since I don’t wear lipstick and am more of a lip balm girl, the glosses are a great way to dress up on the daily or have fun shades to throw on for special events. I love the size: I never want to buy a full-size only to use a couple of times for a special event, and and the minis fit so easily in a clutch for a night out. They’re also really good for layering color, and with 10 colors to choose from, you can experiment.

The Counterman Carry-On set is a limited edition pack for the holidays of the newer men’s product line. my husband has been really pleased with the line for about a year, and since he travels a lot, this was a no-brainer stocking stuffer for him. You can help the men in your life clean up their skincare products for the holidays with this little gem, and with the sale, it’s only $30.

My clients are also re-stocking on the award winners they use on a regular basis: Dew Skin tinted moisturizer with SPF; the Overnight Resurfacing Peel; Countertime Supreme Cream, and more. Is there something you’d like to try? Let me know!
